Mom Mom and Isabelle

Dear Fods,
We made the trip to Long Island today to visit with Allie, Joey and Isabelle. We can't believe that Allie did that trip a couple of times a month. New York driving is definitely an aquired taste!
While we were there all three of Allie's brothers stopped by to visit and we met the whole family except Andrew's wife who was on business in Atlanta. They are a very close family and they have been very supportive of Joey. We went back to Liz's house after our hospital visit and had a nice glass of Italian wine. They live about 1 mile from the hospital and Andrew lives 1 mile from home while Billy lives a mile in the other direction. They are a great family and we are very happy to become part of it.

There are great diners at every block and we went to one a block away for a snack before the ride home. Joey left from the diner to go back to the hospital and we travelled back to Pennsylvania. He is with Allie and Isabelle now at the hospital and will stay up there until Allie is discharged on Tuesday.
Needless to say, Debbie was thrilled to be able to see the new baby and to be surrounded by family. She is completely exhausted now, but was her true trooper self for the whole day with no complaints with the long drive.

I was able to get some pictures of today up -- and you can see how happy everyone is with the new baby girl. She is the center of attention, but of course slept for almost all of the visit!
Debbie sends her love to all.

Joey,Allie,Debbie,Joe and family:

What a wonderful thing! Three grandbabies! She(Isabella)looks great and Allie, of course as well. Won't that be great for Emma to have a girl cousin so close in age.

Debbie...you look more like my mom than I do. What is up with that? You really do look great. I always love seeing pictures of you on the blog.

And what about Kentucky beating LSU? for all the football fans on the blog! Woo Hoo....It's a great weekend to be a KENTUCKY fan.

Bless your new addition and everyone being together. Guess Jessie was busy organizing and walking in the Light the Night.

Love to all and hugs to Allie, Joey and Isabella. COD Eileen

Teklit's Family,

Congrats on your new addition, she is beautiful. I hope Alli is feeling okay, it sounds like she went through a lot. It actually kind of scared me alittle and I'm hoping my little will just pop out with no hassle. (I know that will NOT happen though.)

Debbie, YOU LOOK GREATTTT! I got you a Tshirt for the walk on Saturday. I didnt know if you would be able to make it, but I got you and Uncle Bob special ones just incase. I completely understand if you cannot make it, but you can atleast wear Team Mazztek around the house, ha. Oh, and PS. Reen is still in Scranton or else I know she would have written on the blog about the baby... but I did read it to her last night and she said CONGRATS!

Continued prayers,

XOXO MEG

Hey Chiz-

Too bad you aren't here today - we could have a snowball fight! Yep. October 21 and we are having our second snow - and this one is sticking! It looks like a couple of inches already. (Yesterday, Mr. Hal was wearing shorts and I haven't gotten my winter clothes out of storage yet!) Not much else to report from here - looking forward to seeing you next week like you wouldn't believe.

Keeping the prayers coming from this end. Hope the walk went well - aack! Meg and Jess - can I still contribute?

Love to all the Teklits. Hey, how about those Buckeyes?

Love and kisses- K

p.s. mdf - you're probably thinking I've been getting in the WILD TURKEY...they were back yesterday - all 8 of them this time...

Hey Debbie:

Hope you guys are enjoying the same beautiful fall weather we are having this weekend. Dave is on call so we are laying low. Actually, today I am headed to a college fair with Colin at St. Louis University. My girlfriend Celeste is coming in from Nashville for a college visit at SLU tomorrow but she is meeting us there today to see Mere's room and walk around with Mere. Mere is home on fall break but since it's only an hour away she has agreed to show Celeste and Kat around.

Then home for family dinner of meatballs, sausage and spaghetti. Yesterday was Dave's 48th bday so we are celebrating with Celeste here and Aunt Angie will be over.

Got a package from Jessie with all the Light the Night goodies inside. Thanks to her. Guess you guys walked in the Philly walk for Dr. Bob this weekend. OH! And the kids are visiting too! I know that is the best medicine.

Gotta run. See my boys from STL sent you a message.

Love to all...COD Eileen
