Jessie, & Debbie,
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the pictures of Christian's party as well as the photos from the shore. Little Emma is a sweetheart, & always smiling, & Great Grammy continues to say "Christian is such an innocent little boy"! He sure does take a great photo. There were many smiles to be seen at the shore & it's a reflection of the joy of a fine family being together & enjoying the moment! We're going to try selecting a few pictures to take up for our visit to Aunt Helen tomorrow. Please keep sending the photos as they as a real joy to see,
Love, Grammy & Grampop

Hey Deb:

The pictures are fabulous. Makes me really homesick for the shore. Emma is such a big girl and Christian now 2, holy cow.

Mere called yesterday...about a million times. She forgot her paperwork which she realized in route from Penn Station to North Penn High. All is well though, I found them and faxed them to the high school. The nice lady even called me to let me know they had gotten there.

She had loads of fun in NYC which she will tell you all about. I am finishing packing for my first official business trip to Omaha. Mere's in Lansdale and I am going to Omaha...doesn't seem fair.

Eat a couple scoops extra for me at Friendly's on Monday with Mere.
I will have my computer with me so I will check in through the week from there. Stay well!

Did you find the air purifier thing-a-ma-bob that I mentioned to you?

Miss you! Love COD (bacala) Eileen

Hi there all,

Jess what wonderful pictures. It is so nice that you are able to share them with everyone. It is also so nice to see you Deb having such a great time with your grandbabies. It was also wonderful to get to spend a few minutes with you last week and also to get to see Jess and meet Miss Emma. She is so adorable and what a smile. I can see why you could just gush over the two of them. Take care. You and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers everyday.

MDF your house sounds like you have a revolving door. People coming and going.

Love, hugs, and prayers,
Jean

Jess,
Those photos are great! and the memories that they bring back - hard to believe that my own kids were ever that small. Time goes so fast.
Deb,
You look Marrrrrvelous! Your gray hair is sorta sexy. I'm at work reading your blog which is dangerous so I'll call you later. This weather is terrible. I almost don't want to leave work and drive. I said almost . . . so here I go.
Love you. Miss you.
Susan

Hey Debbie and Joe:

I am anxiously awaiting a call from Mere all about your Friendly Ice Cream run. What is with the weather? Mere says it has been raining cats and dogs. Yesterday she called and said we are on our way to Lehigh Univ. I said, "Do you know where that is?" She was amazed she would be that close to the thriving metropolis of Easton.

She says she is having much fun despite the weather and she loves her roomate from North Carolina.

As for Omaha (mdf) it's hard to say anything about the humidity as we have limited outside time. It looks nice from the hotel. We actually went out for a tour tonight. Fr. Flananan's Boytown. Amazing! You all probably get the mailings. What a concept and of course another fundraising model for us to admire! Why didn't we rescue all the abandoned children? Makes for a better "story" then asking for alumni dollars. I will have to work on the story.

Four days of church to start the day Deb...that should be some added prayer time on your behalf.

As for the conference...it is great! It makes you want to go and change the world but I will have to be satisfied with just changing a few donors minds.

Hope you are feeling swell! By Thursday I will need a break from all of this money talk. Whew!

Hope you and Mere enjoy whatever time you have together. Is there an island in your near future and did you look for that gizmo-bob that I mentioned to you on the phone.

Hope the weather breaks. Miss not being there with you and Mere.

Love to all COD not cod! Joe...Eileen
