Emma's Christening Photos

Hi everyone,

I was holding out sharing these pictures because I wanted to take some close ups of Emma dressed in her gown. I'm not sure when I'll get to do that (I'd better hurry up since she's nearly grown out of it already!) so I decided to post what we have so far. Happy Memorial Day Weekend to ALL - enjoy the long weekend!

I LOVE THE PICTURES!!! Jess, thanks for sharing them with us. Jess and Aunt Debbie, you look beautiful and so happy! All the guys look great and Christian is growing so quickly! He looks very GQ in his light shirt and dark blazer. Emma looked beautiful in her dress. In some pictures, she looks just like Christian, but she definitely has her Daddy's dark hair. It looks like you had a great time together and I appreciate your sharing this event with us. Have a great Memorial weekend everyone!

Jessie & Walid,
The photos taken at Emma's christening were great. Emma's a "little cutie pie", & Christian takes great pictures - great-grammy says " such an innocent little boy". It was delightful seeing the photos of the families along with the individual family portraits. Your mom looked great in the photos, & we don't wish to slight your Dad, Joey the godfather, & Mike, the recent PSU grad. Already we're seeing the influence of Mike by seeing Christian with a PSU shirt. Go Lions!! You have a wonderful family, & we wish all of the best in the world for the both of them. We also hope that Debbie & Joe will enjoy the weekend at the shore. Love, Mom & Dad

Debbie:

It was so good to talk on Saturday. Hoping you are still feeling as well as you were then and can enjoy the beach a little. If not the rooftop will suffice.

It has been sunny and hot here in Missouri and we have been in and out of the pool all weekend. Dave has been cutting lots of grass and weedwacking. I have been planting annuals and sprucing up for the big party on Wednesday. Hopefully the showers they have been predicting all weekend and on Wednesday will stay away. We could use a little rain though.

Tonight if Dave is home from the ER long enough we will check out the DaVinci Code. I have to see what all the hype is about. It reminds me of the hype with The Exorcist when I was in grade school. Still haven't seen that one since Sr. Delelus swore bad things would happen to us if we did. All those fun Catholic memories.

Enjoy your time at the shore and hope that the low days will be mild this go round...
Love, COD Eileen

Jessie,
Love seeing the pictures - your family is absolutely adorable. Christian is not a little baby anymore, he's so grown up especially in his suit.

I love Emma's head of hair!

Your Mom looks terrific doesn't she?

Love to you and the family,
Barb and Paul
