Updated Photos of Debbie and Family

Merry Christmas to All!

Here are a few pictures from our visit together on Christmas Eve along with a few others from Week 1. We all think mom looks GI Jane-esque. Definitely a cute look for her!

Dear Debbie, I woke up thinking about you this Christmas morning. I think you have the greatest gift of all -- your family and friends who love you. When I read the blog entries, I'm so impressed by how much this is expressed by everyone.

I'm so sorry that you've had such an ordeal and that you're in the hospital at Christmas, but I believe that with your spirit and all the support you'll be healthy and at home soon.

Keep the faith and Merry Christmas to you. Much love, Beverly

P.S. Joe and Jessie, the blog is such a good way to stay "connected." Thank you for maintaining it.

Debbie,

Merry Christmas to you!! We wish you were across the street celebrating Christmas at home. It's just not the same on Tennis Way without you. It was great that you got to spend time with Jessie and the boys all together...Christmas gifts don't come in boxes!! We wish all of you, Deb, Joe, Joey, Mikey, Jessie and family all the best and we are praying that this time next year all this will be a distant memory. Hurry home Deb...Casey is still waiting for you at the bottom of our driveway!! Love,

Karen, Bob, Carolyn, Bobby and Casey

Feliz Navidad! What a present to see pictures of all of you and know that everyone is looking so great!....Especially Deb! I printed the "Whole Family" photo and butted into a highly competitive game of ESPN Trivia to share it with the fam. Brendan was in disbelief that it was Debbie. I dawned on me that your signature glasses weren't on in that photo and I had him come look at them all. The picture of Jessie and you convinced him as he immediately said...that's Debbie.

I on the other hand couldn't get over how fabulous you look. I wouldn't bother wearing any hats. I hope that you soon feel as good as you look.

Our annual Christmas dinner may be moved depending on this 24hr. bug that seems to be sweeping through our "transplanted family". I got a call that two members of the family we are having dinner with are on the long end of the bug. Dave and I have already had it. We are waiting to hear if anyone else goes down between now and 5p.m. Another friend has been put on standby as our second dinner option.

We almost phoned a friend earlier in the ESPN Trivia game as the question asked which guy had not been a quaterback for Notre Dame. Joe Montana, Jim Kelly, Pat Somebody, Joe Thiesman....Colin of course talked himself into the wrong aswered and said Jim Kelly.
Thought Joe would like that. He also might like that I got new pots and pans for Christmas.

Mom opened gifts last night after mass and dinner here. She likes to sleep in and we still get up early on Christmas morning. Did I mention that it snowed overnight. Just enough to cover the ground and the boys ran out and did a little sledding. It will be gone soon.

Joe and the boys look like they have gotten the hospital routine down. And Jessie looks fabuloso! What a wonderful Christmas present to have her there with you as well.

Continue to keep you in our prayers at dinner and whenever....Merriest of Christmas wishes. Love from all of us....Cuz Eileen and Family
