June 3 Update

Dear Fod's,

Debbie has gone through 4 days of shots and except for her fatigue, she is holding up very well. The only set of shots that caused her any significant discomfort was Day #1 and we believe that it was "operator" error. The other three days went fine. Visiting nurses came out today and yesterday to administer the injections. The HUP home infusion unit delivered the drugs on time every time. Frankly, it may be faster to have the infusion unit deliver the drugs to me and I will take them down to HUP! That would definitely save an hour or two of HUP time.

Debbie is hoping to catch a movie and an early dinner tonight. She is visiting now with Kathie her visiting nurse and they are catching up.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a long day -- can you believe it! We will pack food, provisions and flares and hope to be home before sundown.

We will keep you posted.

Debbie sends her love to all.

Hey there Deb,

Well things sound a bit better than they did at our last visit. I keep you in my prayers along with Bob constantly. Hope some weekend trips to the shore will be in store. We are heading down in two weeks for a quick weekend. Mom is due for her next cataract surgery. She will be a new person. Acutally got some gardening done last evening. Still have two beds to weed and mulch and summer project for the one side of the house. Need to hire some muscle though. The back garden bed is a jungle of weeds. Hope to get to it so that I can plant one of these days. This is our first week in two months that is reasonable. So I am hoping for some garden time. Take care,
Love, hugs, and prayers, jean

Hey sweetie

Just checking in to see how you are doing. Hope you are resting up and getting ready for a nice weekend at the beach. It looks like I'll be heading off to Denver for some house hunting...oh boy.

Back from Ohio yesterday - the party went very nicely. All my anxiety attacks were for nothing and I have lots of stories to tell you the next time we're together. All the Ohio crew sends their love. Especially that sweetie pie, Carol. (She was such a BIG help at the party. She is truly a doll.)

Sending you lots of huggy vibes until we get together.

K

Hi Debbie:

Back from Cancun with Mere and two friends for a Senior trip. I have to say it was a complete opposite experience from our trips to the shore. Tattoos too numerous to count...women in suits that didn't suit them and skin that didn't need to to shown as well. But all in all the girls had fun. I am just glad to be home. We got home Friday nite at 11:30 pm and stayed up to wash Mere's clothes so she could head off the State Student Council camp as a counselor. She has to be exhausted.

Saw Aunt Angie today. We watched the Belmont race together. Then off to more graduation parties.

We need to catch up. Mom talked to Aunt Lindy sounds like all is well in Easton.

I am going to try and catch you this week. Hope you are still doing well.

Miss you bunches! COD Eileen
