Pictures from Christian's Visit

Dear FODs,

Walid, Christian and I made it back to Virginia last evening safe and sound. The ride home was uneventful except for a bunch of potty breaks. I grabbed Walid a coffee during one of the breaks and the woman at the counter asked how far along I was. I told her eight and a half months and she exclaimed, "You are really BIG!" Now, there is evidence for you all to see - posted in cyberspace. There are also some really special moments captured with mom and dad and proof that mom looks as good as she sounds.

We love you all and thank you for your unwavering support for our family.

Deb,

It was so great to see you and Joe on Saturday even though it was cut short because of the impending snow storm. The cosmos went down way too easy (Joe you make a good drink!), glad I didn't have to drive. Deb, you looked so terrific! Joe - you looked terrific too! I was watching the Olympics last night and there was a commercial showing a skier sitting on a ledge at the top of a ski jump ready to take off and launch into the air and behind the skier were so many people ready to follow to lend support - my thoughts immediately went to you -you're the skier and the rest of us will follow you and support you no matter which path you and Joe decide to take. We all love you (you know that already) and pray for you (you know that too!).

I loved the pictures - Jessie you look terrific. I especially like the picture of Mr. C. and Joe with the same look on their faces!
Love,
Barb

Jess,

Happy Birthday! Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures!! You look great! Christian is getting so big and he is absolutely beautiful. Deb and Joe, you both look wonderful too (Joe & Mike too). Although, Joe, I have to agree with Rick about phoning the fashion police with that boot/sock combo. I'm glad you all had such a nice weekend together.

Love you all,
Jeanne

Hi, everyone!

First of all, Bev sends greetings from her hospital bed. I had the privilege of being her nurse tonight. She's on our rehab floor now and doing great (although she has her doubts). Lotsa' pain at times, but nothing that an ice bag and better living through chemistry can't take care of. she was excited that she learned how to put her pants and socks on today - all by herself!

Secondly, guess who showed up to visit her late this evening? Yup, Deb! She looks and sounds fabulous. You'd never in a million years guess that she was sick (unless you got curious about what's under the hat) She asked that we all step up the prayers and good vibes another notch. So lets get those prayers and positive energies flooding the heavens and supproting Deb and Joe and the kids.

While I'm at it, Mo, I hope you don't mind if I ask for prayers for Bob, too. Heard he was hospitalized this week, but is home now.

MDF, how far are you from Santa Barbara? how 'bout San Jose? We'll prolly be making a trip out there next July. Maybe we can hook up for lunch or something if it's not too far, but that's one BIG state you've got there!

Oh, look at the time. I'd better get to bed. Good night all! Mussie

Debby & Joe,
The pictures were a heartening sight to see the happy smiling family being together again. The photos of Christian having to watch Emeril were unreal - his face said it all!. We don't think he is too enamored with Emeril's "Bam". Deb, you looked great, hat or not, & it was obvious that a good time was beinng held by all "cept" Christian having to watch something other than his favorites. Joe's sock/boot combo reminded me of the WWI days; if they did the job than "so be it" setting a new fashion trend. Deb, our thoughts & prayers are always with you, & the "Editor" said to tell you that she still believes in miracles. Love, Mom & Dad

Hey Deb and Joe,
What a blessing Family is. The pictures just re-establish how beautiful your brood is! :) Just as an observation, I could,nt help but notice how happy that little imp is whenever he is with his Mom-Mom, and how he looks just like the old sour puss, even down to how he sits and folds his hands. What's up with that Pop-Pop? LOL!!!!:) Thanks for the pictures Jess, you look wonderful. Another generation taking shape. You are so blessed. The prayers go on unending. We love all of you! Hi Debbie:

So glad I got to talk to you last night. It is so great to hear your voice.

I am thinking of you today as you mentioned heading to the shore for an overnight. I can picture, Mangia's, Angelos and of course a chocolate covered marshmallow ( oh, go ahead eat more than one)from Fralingers may be on the hit list. I hope you are having the warm spell we just had so walking on the beach will not be too cool. Today we had a high of 71 but the rain came in and now we are in the 40's with the single digits coming by the weekend. This winter has be so unusual.

Gave out Debbie kisses to the kids this morning. Brendan was like..YUK Mom and of course got over it quickly when I said it was from you.

Signed up at Weight Watchers for the 4th time....this weight thing drives me crazy. With the potential for Mayra to return and live with us next year ... I better get the weight off I gained making sure she was eating while here from Honduras.

Better get the meatloaf cooking. Take care my dear...Oh and to Pammy...you go girl!

Talk to you soon. Love Cousin Eileen
