Happy Easter

Hello Everyone,
Hope this finds you all stuffed (but not too much)from delicious holiday dinners surrounded by family and friends. Joe and I had a very relaxing day. Mary and her son Lee came to visit and bring some delish easter bread and we had some lively conversation. So lively that i took a 4hr. nap.I'm feeling ok just very tired.and always have a low grade fever. 100-100.5 Thank God not a 1/10 of a degree higher or I'm headed back to Penn. Not sure what thats about but as long as i am ok and at home then its ok.It's amazing to me how the flowers bloomed while i was in the hospital. Everything looks so fresh and green. Anew beginning for us all. Hopefully a quiet week with not too many trips down to Hup. thank you all for all the Easter greetings and well wishes and calls and for always thinking of usand most importantly for lending your support and love to our friend Bob who is still at Hup.Your prayers make all the difference. Love Deb

Hey Deb, Deb, Debbie:

A four hour nap you are tired. Gosh how that takes it out of you. Spring has sprung here as well. I love this time of year. It makes me wonder how folks live in warmer climates year round. What they miss!

Speaking of your friend Bob...how is he fairing? Are there any parallels in your treatment and does he feel the same. What an odd blessing he has in your experience!

As Mom said our crowd got smaller but it was kinda nice. They loved the eggs I bought at "Floral & Hardy's" with you.

The Easter bunny brought Dave a new issue of Wine Spectator. They featured restaurants in Philly. The one "Le Bec Fin" I remember you mentioning. Dave reads about the wines...I follow up and read about the food.

This week the older kids have their Spring break. Bee goes back on Tuesday. Mere and Colin have three track meets. Colin has been throwing shot put on Varsity. As of course Mere has.

Dave and I went for a short walk after the guests left. I think I could use another. I may have overdone the eating. I do have 4 days before weigh in at WW.

Better finish the clean up. Always have to been in my seat for Law and Order on Sunday nights.

Take care, get lots of rest and eat your veggies. Love to Joe and all the kiddos....Alli too!

Love COD Eileen

Off to NYC this am but wanted to check in on you. SO glad that you are home! Take the time to heal yourself after that second round honey. (I hope you are napping around the house like a cat!)

We're going to take one of the Hop On Hop Off busses around Manhattan and should be back later tonight.

Thinking of you and sending my prayers, honey!.

Hey Deb,
Long time, no message from me. Sorry for that, but know that you are in my thoughts even in my absences from the blog. We've been away for the break, and somehow I missed that you were going back in to HUP. Glad that you are home to recover from the ordeal. Hopefully your temp will cooperate and you can stay home! Although, I know Bob and Mo were happy for your company.
Enjoy this beautiful spring day. Take tepid baths and sleep all GD day if you need to.
Love ya, Kim

Hi Deb and Joe,

Happy Easter! I'm so glad that you were able to be home for Easter! I just saw the pictures of the babies and they are so beautiful! I'm sure Jess and Walid are very busy right now. It looked like Christian was having a good time at the Easter Egg Hunt. Mom and Dad had one yesterday for Alex and he did real good without any competition too! And, it didn't take him long to figure out that Great Grampop had them all buried under little piles of leaves, so he just started looking for leaves and he was done in no time. I was on a cruise last week with Lisa and Bob to the soutern caribbean and it was gorgeous! It was sunny and 85 and above the whole time we were there. I didn't want to get off the ship!

Well, keep getting your rest and we're all thinking of you!
Love,
Jeanne

Hi Deb-
So glad to hear your home. We had Easter at Les & Sharon's. Everyone enjoyed looking at the pictures of your grandchildren. I remember having egg hunts for my kids, seems like yesterday.
I'm sure Mo loved having you close last week, keeping an eye out for Bob. I miss having you guys at MSC, we're quite busy these days. Gretchen had her total knee last week and is doing well. A great nurse named Helen is working all Gretchen's Days! Well take care, rest up for Mike's graduation. Talk to you soon.

Hey Debbie:

Got the copies of the photos of Jessies yesterday. Mom loved them and couldn't get over how handsome Christian is and how big Emma is. Everyone looks so good in the photos...especially Jessie.

Heading to a track meet in a few minutes. Mere and Colin are doing shot put and Mere will also throw discus. Such genteel children I have. Sent out your package yesterday and forgot to enclose the article from the paper. Annually in town they host "mouse races" for the Luekemia Society. We will be headed to Marquette so we will be donating in your honor this year. I'll let you know if your mouse wins.

Take care..gotta pick Bee up and head to the meet.

Love ya lots...Eileen

PS ... Mere got her itinerary for the NASC meeting in Lansdale. They are headed to NYC for two days and get to see the play WICKED and of course Ellis Island and all the other fun things one does in 48 hours. If we were only born a little later....

Debby & Joe,
We had a nice Easter with 4 of our families here for dinner, & a nice egg hunt for Alex. He (Alex) had "a ball", & had no difficulty locating the "goodies" in spite of their being partially hidden. Today we drove to the Family History Center in Doylestown & continued driving down the same road to visit with Mrs. Campbell. We had a very enjoyable visit with Gregg' mom & were quite impressed with her bright cheerful room, & an excellent view of Peace Valley from her window. She was anticipating being discharged today, but wasn't sure if it would occur or not. Larry called us yesterday evening & it seems like he has another overseas trip scheduled around the same time that we'll be leaving their place after Bob's graduation next month from the Univ of Colo at Boulder. We hope that all is going well with you & that your counts are climbing nicely. You continue being in our thoughts & prayers,
Love, Mom & Dad
