Memorial Service Details

Thanks to all for your wonderful notes and memories of my mom. As previously mentioned, the memorial for Debbie is on April 10th at 10am at Corpus Christi Church in Lansdale. We'll be greeting guests beginning at 9am. For close friends, family, coworkers, and hospital staff, a reception will be held at the Blue Bell Country Club immediately following the mass.

For those of you traveling in from afar, we've reserved a block of rooms at Normandy Farm , which is located very close to the reception site. We look forward to seeing you and having you join us in the celebration of Mom's incredible life.

Much love,

Jessie

Dear Joe, Jessie and Mike,

I think all us FODs have been stunned into silence. To actually see the plans in black and white is gut-wrenching, but I know Deb would take no prisoners, as far as self-indulgent moping was concerned. So I look forward to celebrating the life that was so well-lived and sharing all the "Debbie stories" that I know and hearing everyone else's. Debbie wanted that.Thank you Joe for your incredible generosity. You do Debbie proud.

Our love to you all,
Bob and Mo

Mo is right, I am still in denial. Thank you Mo for saying what I couldn't find the words to say... Debbie will be listening to all our stories. I too thank you Joe and Jessie and Mike for sharing such a beautiful woman's life with all of us.

Dear Joe, Jessie and Mike,

I was at the Easter Vigil Mass tonight and could not stop thinking about Debbie. I kept looking at the cross and thinking that Debbie is up in heaven sharing this Easter with God. I still find it very hard to believe that she is not with us.... but I feel her spirit.
I want to let you know that I am thinking about you today on Easter.
God Bless you.
Love,
Donna,Chuck,Wyatt and Mackenzie

I still think of Debbie daily - and your family, but I know she is out of pain and suffering and with the Lord right now and is also with her precious Joey. I am sure the memorial service will be beautiful just like your whole family was throughout this ordeal. Love Shelly Geib

Hi,

Unfortunately I am not able to get enough photographers to cover me for Saturday's baseball season's opening day in Delaware and I will not be able to make the memorial service. Please know I am deeply sorry for your loss and I will be thinking of you on Saturday as you celebrate Debbie's life.

Love,

Beach Betty

Dear Teklits Famuily,

I am so sorry for your loss, and so inspired by the love, strength, and joy that your family represents. Jess your Mom must be so proud of you! Twice now you have had the hard job of speaking for your family. You did so with the utmost grace. I am very thankful to have been able to come to the funeral Mass and am sorry I could not attend the celebration of Debbies life afterward. You will all remain in my prayers.
God bless you Joe, Jess, Mike and all your family.

Joe, Jess & Mike, THANK YOU!!!! What a beautiful celebration today... I was so proud and happy today to be able to celebrate Debbies amazing life. She was the most loving person I have ever known and she will be in my heart forever. You will always be family... Debbie, I am sure, was smiling from ear to ear today as she watched her cherished family and her dear friends pay tribute to life, living, and the power of love, family and friendship.

Thank you again for including me in such a memorable day and especially for sharing your beautiful Debbie with me for all these years.

Jessie - you did a wonderful job today. Such grace and poise. Mom was beaming! It was a beautiful mass. So sorry I wasn't able to stay for the reception. I want to thank you for this blog and keeping all of us updated and in the loop.

At my husband's request, we had "Debbie's Chicken Breasts with Cream Cheese and Chives" for supper tonite in honor of her. I will continue to keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. With Love, Mussie
