Special Guest Posting

We have discovered a internet connection on Deb's floor and she is posting this herself today.

"To all my friends and family. What would I do without you? Your emails and blogs are medicine for my soul. I laugh and cry tears of joy when I read them and realize that I have been so blessed to have you all in my life. And you are all such inspired writers. My friend Kris says, " that I should stop trying to write nurses notes and my writing could become more interesting too. "

Thank you for the flowers, cards, goodies, angels, blankets, disco balls, wind chimes, Santa, Christmas tree, pot pouri, and sweet smelling lotions. My room is the most festive on the floor, thanks to Martha Smith and it has kept me quite cozy on these recent nights with fevers.

I have been using the shawls around my neck and legs when I get lonely in the middle of the night and I am surrounded by all of your kindness and loving thoughts for my recovery. [Joe is typing this faster than I can compose it --- if left on my own, I would have shut down the Penn network by now. The girls at MSC will confirm.]

I love you all more than I can ever say. You will get me through this day by day and I can't wait to give you all a hug in person. Now the lap Nazi is telling me to get moving!

Love,

Debbie

Debby & Joe,

It was indeed a special guest posting for all of us to hear from Deb directly. We were also delighted to read about the festive setting your room is taking, but it will never be as Debby's Place" with all of the Santa Clauses not being displayed throughout the room. Sounds like the hospital refrigerator will soon be filled with all of the "goodies" that everyone has been bringing for you to enjoy. Even though "Debby's laps" may not measure up to Joe's laps, its great that you are keeping up with yout fitness schedule. You are always in our thoughts & prayers,
Love, Mom & Dad

hey Deb..glad you found the computer..if you feel the need to talk in the late night,go ahead and email me.. im still 3hours behind you.. isn't Kris your friend from sf?Did she move to nj? LUcky for her..
I spent the day shopping for my oldest.. he is going to the winter ball next weekend.. he is now 16, can't believe it,and mark is now 14!Remeber my boys initials....if i had a 3rd son , he would have been named sean..then their initials would be P_M_S...
So, as i left Mervyns with my sons cheerful attire for the dance(black pants, black shirt, maybe a white tie..look out spranono's,) i couldn't find my car!! That seems to be happening alot more lately..is it because it is sort of a generic white car, or is it age?? Noticing hair growing places that it shouldn't be(for a woman)and no matter how many sit ups i do,(when i can get down on the floor to do them) i still have a roll.. no belly buttons piercing for me..couldnt find it.. although, on second thought,,it could be a fun challenge

anyway,, getting my medical info from my sis, and web md..so im trying to keep up with all that is going on with you, know the road is going to be bumpy for awhile.. so hang on, be strong.. and know that the west coast is pulling for you!
If you ever want to email me, i would love to hear from you(only if your up to it),,its my2sonsfoley@yahoo..love ya,,,mary day

Hi Debbie, We are so glad Jessie is a computer wizard so that we are able to talk to you like this. You are in all of our prayers and the whole family sends you their best. Colin will be home from Virginia Tech on the 22nd. Ryan of course comes home from Penn State this week. He says he doesn't have any finals, you know how that goes. Erin will be joining us with her boyfriend on Christmas day. We plan to have the whole family here for Christmas dinner.

Sounds like you are surrounded in all of your favorite things and family and friends. Let me know if we can be of any help.

Will talk to you real soon

Love Cathy and Artie

Dear Debbie,

I've been afraid to try blogging but when I saw that Ann had done several, I thought I'd give it a try.

You are in my thoughts so often. I am sending my best wishes and lots of positive energy to you. I think the number of people who sent messages shows how much you are loved. You are such a special person to all of us. Please take care. Much love, Beverly in WV
